Male Sought in Ignacio Bank Robbery

On March 10, 2009, the Ignacio Police Department, La Plata County Sheriffs Office, and the Southern Ute Police Department responded to a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank in Ignacio, Colorado. At approximately 2 p.m., a robber entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 615 Goddard Avenue, Ignacio, Colorado.

The robber is described as a tan white male or light skinned Hispanic male, 5’8”-5’10”, 170-180 pounds and is slender built. He had dark brown, facial stubble and wore large sunglasses. The robber also wore a grey ski cap, grey zip up hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

The below photographs were obtained from bank surveillance cameras. The attached sketch of the robber was prepared based on witness observations.
