Reward of up to $50,000 Offered for Fugitive Wanted for Murder in Hillsborough County

TAMPA, FL—Special Agent in Charge Eric W. Sporre, of the Tampa Field Office, announced a reward of up to $50,000 being offered in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a fugitive wanted for murder in Hillsborough County.

Dennis Saint John Rodriguez, Jr., is facing first degree murder charges in the death of a Ruskin, Florida man in 2016. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office also wants to question him about several other unsolved murders. A federal arrest warrant was issued in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, on December 22, 2017 charging Rodriguez, Jr. with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Rodriguez, Jr. is believed to be in Celaya, Mexico and possibly working as a barber. He is an alleged member of the Latin Kings gang and should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. He is further described as follows:

  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight: 180 pounds
  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White (Hispanic)

Anyone with information concerning Rodriguez, Jr. should take no action themselves, but should immediately contact the nearest FBI office.
