Arrest of Natanael Acevedo-Osorio

SAN JUAN, PR—Special Agent in Charge Douglas A. Leff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) San Juan Field Office announced the arrest of Natanael Acevedo-Osorio, a.k.a. “Nata".

Acevedo-Osorio was charged under a Complaint signed on August 30, 2019, with violations to Title 18 USC 2251 (a) (Possession of Child Pornography), and Title 18 USC 2251(a)(2) (Receipt of Child Pornography). Acevedo-Osorio was arrested on September 6, 2019, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico by members of the FBI East Resident Agency.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas Cannon is prosecuting the case. If convicted, the defendant faces a mandatory minimum term of 15 years' incarceration and up to a maximum term of 30 years.
