San Diego FBI Seeking Assistance to Identify Solana Beach Bank Robber

The San Diego FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual believed to be responsible for a bank robbery in Solana Beach.

On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at approximately 9:40 a.m., an unknown male entered the Union Bank located at 969 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Solana Beach, California, and made a verbal demand to the victim teller for money. The robber received a sum of cash and fled the bank in a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered.

Description of Robber:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White or Hispanic
  • Age: Early 50s
  • Height: Approximately 6’0"
  • Build: Large
  • Clothing: Wearing a dark jumpsuit, dark gloves, dark shoes, dark neck gator, blue hat, safety glasses, and an orange safety vest
