San Diego FBI Seeking Assistance to Identify Clairemont Bank Robber

The San Diego FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force and the San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual believed to be responsible for a bank robbery in the Clairemont area.

On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at approximately 3:48 p.m., an unknown male entered the Chase Bank located at 5825 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, California. The robber presented a note to the victim teller which threatened a gun and demanded money from the bank. The robber received a sum of cash and fled the bank on foot.

Description of Robber:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Dark-skinned, possibly Hispanic
  • Hair: Bald
  • Age: Late 20s to early 30s
  • Height: Approximately 5’4”
  • Build: Skinny
  • Clothing: White t-shirt, blue jeans, and face covering
