FBI Seeking Information—Unidentified Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery in San Diego, California.

On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at approximately 9:46 a.m., a lone male entered the Chase Bank, located at 3490 College Avenue, San Diego, California. The robber, who was wearing clear latex gloves, presented a demand note to the victim teller and received a sum of cash. The robber fled on foot southbound.

Witnesses have described the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Faciel Hair: “Goatee” style
  • Age: 20s to 30s
  • Height: 6’0” tall
  • Build: Thin
  • Tattoos: “A” on right hand behind thumb
  • Clothing: Dark scarf around his neck, plaid long sleeve shirt, black cargo shorts, black mirrored sunglasses, and a black baseball hat.
  • Weapon: None seen during robbery
