FBI Seeking Assistance to Identify El Cajon Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery in San Diego, California.

On September 14, 2018, at approximately 10:49 a.m., the Mission Federal Credit Union, located at 760 North Johnson Avenue, El Cajon, California was robbed by a lone male. The robber approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The robber was provided a sum of cash and departed the business on foot. The robber is described as a white male, in his 50s, standing approximately 6'0" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a blue striped polo shirt and khaki shorts.

Witnesses have described the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Age: 50s
  • Height: 6’0” tall
  • Build: Slim
  • Clothing: Blue striped polo shirt and khaki shorts
  • Weapon: None seen during the robbery, but threatened in note
