FBI Requests Public Assistance to Identify Imperial Valley Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the El Centro Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery in El Centro, California.

On September 15, 2018, at approximately 2:20 p.m., the Chase Bank, located at 2303 North Cottonwood Drive, El Centro, California, was robbed by a lone male. The robber approached the teller and presented a handwritten note demanding money from the bank. The robber was provided a sum of cash and departed the bank on foot.

Witnesses have described the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: Hispanic
Age: 20s
Height: 5’5”—5’6” tall
Build: Thin
Skin: Light skinned
Clothing: Polo style shirt, dark jeans, baseball hat
Weapon: None seen or threatened during the robbery
