FBI and Falls County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Information Into Marlin, Texas Bank Robbery

WACO, TX—The San Antonio Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)—Waco Resident Agency Office (RA) and the Falls County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a joint investigation into a bank robbery which occurred this afternoon, April 30, 2019, in Marlin, Texas.

The robbery took place at the BBVA Compass Bank, 504 Live Oak Street in Marlin at approximately 12:30 p.m. The suspected bank robber was armed and is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” in height and weighing approximately 190 to 200 pounds with broad shoulders and a deep voice. He wore sunglasses, dark pants and a baseball cap, covered by a bright orange hoodie. He had long black hair (or wore a wig) and appeared to have gray stubble on his face. He was carrying a bag that was maroon or purple in color.

After robbing the bank, the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
