FBI Seeking Citrus Heights Bank Robber

SACRAMENTO—The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seeks assistance from the public to identify an individual suspected of committing a bank robbery of the Wells Fargo branch located within Raley’s on Lichen Drive in Citrus Heights on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

The robbery subject is described as a white adult male who is believed to be 25—35-years-old. He stands approximately six feet tall with a medium build. During the robbery, the subject wore dark-colored cargo-style pants, a light blue polo shirt, a dark blue ball cap with “U.S. Navy” in yellow and an eagle embroidered on the front, and dark sunglasses. According to witnesses, the man presented a demand note indicating that he was armed with a gun during the commission of the robberies. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the subject left the location on foot without incident.

In addition to the FBI, the bank robberies are being investigated by the Citrus Heights Police Department. All tips may be offered anonymously. If the subject is spotted in the community, the public is urged to call 911 and not approach the individual.
