Seeking Virginia Teens to Fill Upcoming FBI Richmond Academy

Are you a parent looking for a safe, engaging program for your teen this summer? Or are you a teen interested in seeing past the veil of mystery and mystique, to learn first-hand how the FBI solves crimes? If so, FBI Richmond’s Special Agent in Charge Stanley Meador encourages Virginia’s high-school students to apply for the FBI Richmond 2023 Teen Academy.

The goal of the FBI Richmond’s Teen Academy is to bring awareness of the FBI’s role in federal law enforcement, the role of STEM as it enhances investigations, and internship and career opportunities. Ideal candidates for this program are those students who have a genuine interest in the FBI, are engaged in school activities and community outreach programs, and are committed to sharing these experiences within their home schools.

This two-day program held at the FBI Richmond field office June 21-22, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will be facilitated by our executive management team, and a cadre of special agents, intelligence analysts, and professional support. Visit our webpage for additional information about the Teen Academy and the application process. All applications, including the written essay, are to be submitted by close of business March 31, 2023.

Due to the significant interest in this program, the selection process is competitive, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
