FBI Richmond’s Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force Seeks Information on Bank Robbery Subject

Investigators assigned to the FBI Richmond Division’s Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force are seeking the public’s assistance for information leading to the identification of the person responsible for robbing the M&T Bank located in the 9600 block of Sliding Hill Road in Ashland, Virginia on December 7, 2018.

An unknown white male subject entered the M&T Bank, approached the victim teller, and produced a demand note, indicating it was a robbery and that he was armed with a gun. The victim teller complied with the demand, and the subject fled the bank.

It is to be noted that the subject never produced a weapon; however since he implied he had a gun he should be considered armed and dangerous.

A Wanted by the FBI poster has been created and posted to the FBI’s website.

Please contact the Richmond Division of the FBI at 804-261-1044 or via tips.fbi.gov with information that may lead to the identification of this individual.
