FBI Richmond Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force Seeks Subject in Armed Bank Robbery

David W. Archey, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Richmond Division announces a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the subject involved in an armed bank robbery in September 2019.

The FBI Richmond Division’s Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task is investigating the armed robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank located in the 10000 block of Midlothian Turnpike, Chesterfield, Virginia, that occurred on September 14, 2019. During this robbery the subject entered the bank and quickly approached the victim tellers, brandishing a firearm and demanding money. The victim tellers complied and the subject fled the bank on foot.

The subject is described as a black male, 50 to 60 years of age, average build, approximately 5’10” to 6’1” and 200 pounds. The subject wore a light blue Oxford-style shirt, a black ball cap, dark pants with a stripe, sunglasses, and a black/blue bandana covered part of his face.
