PROTECTED VOICES is an FBI initiative designed to raise awareness and mitigate the risk of cyber influence operations targeting U.S. elections, providing valuable information for anyone who uses a computer. Through the PROTECTED VOICES initiative, FBI offices across the country are coordinating with political campaigns at all levels—local, state, and federal—to make them aware of potential vulnerabilities through cyber-attacks. The FBI, in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, produced a series of short videos addressing various vulnerabilities facing campaign and personal networks. The videos also provide tips and best practices to better protect your information. Through this campaign the FBI provides simple, effective measures of protection; and while some of these measures may seem basic they are vital to maintaining the security and integrity of your systems.
