The FBI’s Portland Division welcomes active duty military, reservists, National Guard members, and veterans to a special recruiting event on July 26, 2017.

Service to your country doesn’t have to stop when your military tour of duty is complete. The FBI is looking to hire active duty military members who are close to separation or retirement, as well as reservists, National Guard members, and veterans. Why join the FBI ranks? Through your current or previous service to our country, you have shown that you share our commitment to keeping our country and our communities safe. You share our core values of leadership, respect, integrity, and fairness. You understand what it means to act with fairness, to be accountable, and to honor diversity. The FBI will give you the chance to take the skills you’ve developed and the values you hold in a new and challenging direction.

The Portland Division is holding a special recruiting event on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, to mark the 109th anniversary of the FBI’s founding. From 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., you will be able to tour our facility, talk to many vets who are already on duty with us, and explore some of our specialty teams. From 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., we will talk with participants about the hiring process, requirements and military-specific recruiting information.

Participants are required to pre-register by July 21, 2017. E-mail your full legal name, date of birth, and branch of service to portlandapplicants@ic.fbi.gov. Registrants will receive more information about logistics, parking, and security requirements prior to the event.
