The FBI is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a man who robbed the U.S. Bank branch located at 3955 Center Street NE in Salem today at about 11:50 a.m. The man walked into the bank, approached the teller counter, demanded cash, received an undisclosed amount of cash, and left the bank on foot.

Witnesses describe him as:

• White man
• Age: Early 20s
• Height: 5’6” to 5’7”
• Build: Thin
• Clothing: Red knit cap with a bill and a white and black pattern; black jacket; and dark-colored pants
• Marks: Bruise under left eye
• Other: May use the first name of “Timothy”
