FBI, Verona Police Department, and the Baden Police Department Seek the Public's Assistance in Identifying the Unidentified Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Pittsburgh Division, in conjunction with the Verona Police Department and the Baden Police Department, are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male responsible for robbing the First National Bank located at 74 Allegheny River Boulevard, Verona, Pennsylvania on May 1, 2017 and then attempted robbery of the Huntington Bank located at 1685 West State Street, Baden, Pennsylvania on July 22, 2017.

In both incidents, the robber approached the teller counters displaying a silver handgun and carrying a large money bag demanding money from the vault. A reward is being offered for any information leading to apprehension of the suspect.

The robber is described as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Unknown
  • Weight: Approximately 140—150
  • Age: 30—40 years old
  • Height: Approximately 5'6"— 5"9"
  • Clothing: Hoodie type jacket, black mask covering the lower half of his face, dark gloves
