FBI Seeking Public Assistance in Identifying South Side Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Pittsburgh Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male responsible for robbing the First Commonwealth Bank at 2501 East Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA, at approximately 3:04 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017.

The robber walked into the First Commonwealth Bank, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. He was wearing a dark-colored long sleeve button up shirt, blue jeans, a dark nylon stocking pulled down to the top of the mouth, and a dark baseball hat. The robber is described as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Height: Approximately 6'1" to 6'2" tall
  • Weight: Approximately 165—175 lbs

The robber stole an undetermined amount of money and fled west on East Carson Street.
