FBI, Pittsburgh Police, and Penn Hills Police Seek the Public’s Assistance in Identifying Lawrenceville and Penn Hills Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Pittsburgh Division, Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, and Penn Hills Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male responsible for robbing the First Commonwealth Bank, located at 5200 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, shortly after 1:00 p.m. today and the PNC Bank located at 206 Rodi Road in Pittsburgh shortly after 2 p.m. today. At each robbery, the male advised tellers he had a bomb on his person.

The robber is described as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Black
  • Facial hair: Light beard
  • Height: Approximately 6’2” tall
  • Build: Thin
  • Age: Mid-20s

Last seen wearing a red-knit cap with a Steelers logo on the front; thick, dark-rimmed eyeglasses; black Air Jordan sneakers; and a black jacket with a red stripe on each sleeve.
