FBI Phoenix Joins Search for Nicholas Cowan—Seeks to Centralize Tips
$25,000 Reward for Information Offered
PHOENIX, AZ—The FBI Phoenix field office, at the request of the Phoenix Police Department, is assisting in the search for 35-year-old Nicholas Cody Cowan who is alleged to have shot and wounded a Phoenix police officer yesterday, April 14, 2022. This afternoon, the FBI announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to Cowan’s location, arrest, conviction, and sentencing.
Additionally, due to the volume of tips being received as the search for Cowan continues, FBI Phoenix and the Phoenix Police Department are asking citizens with any tips in this case to begin calling the FBI’s tip line to report that information.

Cowan is described as a white male, 35 years old, 6’0” tall, 215 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. Cowan was last seen wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black shorts, and has tattoos on his neck, arms, chest, and back.
