Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Chalfont, Bucks County

The New Britain Township Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for Friday’s robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 4275 County Line Road, Chalfont, Pennsylvania.

At approximately 4:22 p.m., the subject entered the bank and approached a teller. He placed a large, blue nylon zip-top bag on the teller counter and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject walked out the front doors and toward the back of the bank building.

The subject is described as a male with pale, distorted facial features and very large ears; many witnesses believed he was wearing a full-face mask and wig.

He had on a dark blue hooded zip-front windbreaker, a white flat cap, black glasses with tinted lenses, and tan leather driving gloves with open knuckles. The subject also had an earpiece or earbud in his right ear. A fairly thick red wire ran from the earpiece down into his jacket.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous.
