Robbery of PNC Bank Branch in Philadelphia Today

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery today of the PNC Bank branch located at 1111 Market Street.

At approximately 2 p.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the bank on foot, heading west on Market Street.

The subject is described as a black male in his 50s, approximately 5’10” tall, thin build, with a salt-and-pepper goatee. He wore a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black pants, gray flat cap, and white sneakers.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There is a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
