Christy, of McAdoo, Pennsylvania, was indicted by a federal grand jury on July 10, 2018, for threatening to harm President Donald J. Trump, and law enforcement officers.

According to the indictment, Christy posted the threats on Facebook between June 3 and 12, 2018, saying that he was going to shoot President Trump in the head, and was going to use “lethal force” on any law enforcement officer attempting to detain him on a previously issued bench warrant. Christy allegedly also threatened to injure another person, posting “Your a dead man….Lets play.”
