Bank Robbery Suspects Sought in Two Omaha-Area Bank Robberies

On September 12, 2017 two bank robberies occurred in the Omaha area. The suspects are still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Bank Robbery at 8510 Dodge Street 

Omaha Police and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of the West at 8510 Dodge Street Tuesday morning. Officers responded to the bank at 10:16 a.m. and spoke with an employee who said the suspect showed a firearm and a note demanding money. After receiving money, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as an unknown-race male wearing a black shirt.

Bank Robbery at 16808 Harrison Street

Omaha Police and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of the West at 168th and Harrison Street Tuesday morning. Officers responded to the bank at 9:36 a.m. Employees told officers that the suspect entered the bank, motioned as if he had a weapon, and demanded money. After receiving money, the suspect fled westbound through the neighborhood.

The suspect was described as a short and skinny unknown-race male, wearing a blue longsleeved shirt or jacket, a scarf, mask, dark pants and a bicycle helmet.
