Police Week Statement from Special Agent in Charge Edward Gray
Police Week Statement from Special Agent in Charge Edward Gray following the release of the Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted, 2021 statistics, which includes one officer feloniously killed in Oklahoma:
“Throughout National Police Week, our nation recognizes the courage of the men and women in law enforcement, who, despite facing uncertain dangers and risks, continuously place the safety of others above their own. Every day, we also honor those who lost their lives protecting others. Here in Oklahoma, we pay tribute to Corporal Kyle Jeffrey Davis of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, who gave the ultimate sacrifice in March 2021. I would also like to pay tribute to our FBI family as we remember our fallen colleagues for their heroism and devotion to service. The memories of these heroes will never be forgotten, and we are eternally grateful for their sacrifice, families, and Departments. The FBI thanks the entire law enforcement community across Oklahoma for their service and immense public safety contributions.”
