FBI, Ardmore Police Search for Bank Robber

UPDATE: The FBI on Saturday November 13, 2021 released new information about an unidentified man suspected of robbing a bank in Ardmore on Friday.

The suspect has prominent tattoos on both arms, including the word “Texas” on his left forearm.

The FBI and Ardmore Police Department are looking for an unidentified man who robbed a bank on Friday afternoon, November 12, 2021.

He is believed to be driving a red pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed.

The robbery occurred at American Nation Bank, 1901 North Commerce Street, at approximately 3:16 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'6” to 5'7” tall, who wore long red wig, a red mask that covered half his face, a dark long-sleeve shirt with a gold reindeer image on the front, dark pants, and sunglasses on his forehead.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

After fleeing from the bank, it is believed the subject took off the wig and dark shirt and was observed in a white T-shirt and green baseball cap at a Casey’s Convenience Store nearby.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
