Please join us for a virtual networking seminar for professional women interested in a career with the FBI. Meet female FBI agents and professional staff who come from diverse backgrounds like teaching, nursing, and accounting. Listen to their stories and how an FBI career works in their lives as mothers, wives, sisters, friends, and volunteers.

Applying to be a Special Agent 

FBI special agents are required to adhere to strict standards of conduct and exemplify the FBI’s Core Competencies, including:

  • Collaboration

  • Communication

  • Flexibility/Adaptability

  • Initiative

  • Leadership

  • Organizing and Planning

  • Problem Solving/Judgment

The open-ended questions are designed to understand your background and fit with these competencies. As such, you are strongly encouraged to provide as much information as possible and use the Situation, Action, Result format to describe the situation, the actions you took, and the resulting outcomes.
