FBI Seeking Information Related to Newport News Bank Robbery

NORFOLK—The FBI Norfolk Field Office is seeking information regarding a bank robbery that took place on August 6, 2024. At approximately 3:24 p.m., two unknown suspects robbed the Truist Bank located at 397 Denbigh Blvd in Newport News.

The masked suspects entered the front of the building, with one suspect brandishing a weapon, then demanded money from the bank teller. They left the area in a gold-colored four-door Hyundai sedan traveling south on Warwick Blvd.

The first suspect was described as wearing a pink jacket, grey-hooded jacket, tan pants and white tennis shoes. The second suspect, who brandished the gun, wore a black face mask and all black clothing.

This case is being investigated in partnership with the Newport News Police Department.
