On Friday, July 22, 2016, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Joshua Daigle was arrested by the FBI New Orleans Division’s Violent Crimes Against Children/Human Trafficking Task Force (VCAC/HT TF) on possession of child pornography.

After a lengthy investigation, the VCAC/HT TF, with the assistance of the Thibodaux Police Department, arrested Joshua Daigle, a white male, dob  August 9, 1974, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, for possessing child pornography. Daigle was charged under LRS 14:81.1, possession of child pornography.

Daigle was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and booked with 25 counts of possession of child pornography.

This matter will be prosecuted by the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office.
