FBI and JPSO Investigating Jefferson Financial Credit Union Bank Robbery Located at 111 Wall Boulevard

NEW ORLEANS—The FBI New Orleans Field Office and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the subject who robbed the Jefferson Financial Credit Union, 111 Wall Boulevard, Gretna, Louisiana 70056.

On Friday, January 11, 2019, at approximately 1:50 p.m., an individual entered the Jefferson Financial Credit Union, approached the teller window and presented a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, the robber fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a Black male, medium build, wearing a dark, blue-green sweatshirt with hood, reflective sunglasses, and dark pants.

This robbery is being investigated by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the FBI New Orleans Violent Crime Task Force.
