FBI Searching for Robber of PNC Bank

The FBI’s Newark Field Office requests the public’s assistance with identifying the individual or individuals responsible for robbing the PNC Bank located inside the Stop & Shop grocery store on 1049 Route 1 South in Edison, New Jersey.

On Friday, October 24, 2014, at approximately 6:28 p.m., the subject entered the grocery store and proceeded directly to the PNC Bank teller counter and displayed a demand note. The subject threatened he had a gun, but no weapon was displayed or observed. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The subject is described as a white male, 5’7”, thin build, late 20s to early 30s. 

    

A reward of up $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this robbery.
