Bernard J. Trokan, 53, of Merton, Wisconsin, was arrested May 30 for possession of child pornography. Trokan was arrested and taken into custody yesterday without incident by the FBI Milwaukee Child Exploitation Task Force in collaboration with Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.

Trokan is a social worker with Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services, assigned to the adolescent and family services division. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office is seeking additional information involving this case, and asks that citizens contact Detective Ross Seitz at 262-896-8042 with any investigative tips or complaints.

Trokan appeared in federal court in Milwaukee yesterday, May 30, 2019.

The FBI Milwaukee Child Exploitation Task Force consists of members from Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Milwaukee Police Department, West Allis Police Department, Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
