FBI Seeking Public Assistance for Two Bank Robberies in Broward County

The FBI is seeking the public's assitance in identifying a suspect in two bank robberies that took place Friday, October 6, 2017, in Broward County, Florida. Investigators believe both robberies were committed by the same individual.

The first robbery occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. at a PNC bank branch located at 999 E Commerical Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The second robbery occurred at approximately 5:56 p.m. at another PNC bank branch located at 4560 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida.

During both robberies, the robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. There were customers in the banks; there were no injuries. The amount of money taken will not be released at this time.

Investigators believe the robber may be the same suspect in an October 14, 2017  robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank located in Margate, Florida.

If anyone has information as to the identity of this bank robber, they are urged to call the FBI at (754) 703-2000 or Crimestoppers.
