The FBI is seeking information on a bank robbery that took place March 27, 2017 at approximately 9:45 a.m. at the Bank of America branch located at 2850 Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL.

The robber entered the bank, advised he had explosives, and demanded money from an employee. There were no injuries and no customers were in the bank at the time. The amount of money taken during the robbery (if any) will not be released at this time.

In addition to the FBI, the Lighthouse Point Police Department and Broward Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded. The bank was swept and cleared for explosives (none found).
