The FBI is announcing a major recruiting initiative for special agents with an emphasis on diversity.

Special agents will be available for sound (English and Spanish) with news outlets on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at FBI Miami, 2030 SW 145 Avenue, Miramar, Florida 33027.

Information provided will include B-roll of new agent training at the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia, details about this recruitment initiative, and current FBI employment statistics of identified minority groups.

Registration is open now for an invitation only recruitment event, known as Diversity Agent Recruitment or DAR, to be held in Fort Lauderdale on February 5, 2018 with the aim of reaching potential applicants with a variety of backgrounds in order to diversify the FBI.
