The FBI announces the arrest of Sergio Conrad Ayers, 39, of Miami, Florida, for his alleged involvement in the robbery of a Regions Bank at 2800 NW 7th St, Miami, Florida, on November 2, 2018.

Ayers was arrested without incident yesterday, December 4, 2019, by the City of Miami Police Department during a traffic stop.

He is now in federal custody and faces bank robbery charges.

His initial appearance is anticipated to be today, December 5, 2019, in Miami federal court. The court documents detailing the charges can be found in PACER under the Southern District of Florida in due time.

The City of Miami Police Department and the FBI Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force continue their investigation.
