The FBI announces the arrest of Biagio Mento, of Martin County, FL, on federal bank robbery charges for his alleged involvement in the robberies of a Seacoast Bank located at 1901 S. US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL, on 6/15/2018 and a SunTrust Bank branch located at 2050 West Woolbright Road, Boynton Beach, FL, on 6/18/2018.

The arrest was made without incident yesterday morning (6/19/2018) in Martin County by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

Mento is in federal custody. His initial appearance is anticipated to be in federal court in West Palm Beach, FL. The complaint detailing the charges can be found in PACER in due course.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Boynton Beach Police Department, Fort Pierce Police Department, U.S. Probation Services, and the FBI continue their investigation.
