The FBI announces the arrest of Enrique Antonio Gamez, 35, of Miramar, Florida, for his alleged involvement in the January 9 robbery of a Navy Federal Credit Union branch at 909 SE 1st Avenue in Miami, Florida.

The arrest was made by City of Miami Beach Police Department without incident yesterday evening in Miami Beach.

Gamez is in federal custody and is facing federal charges.

A second individual was detaine, but not charged and later released.

The City of Miami Beach Police Department, Miami Police Department, ATF, DHS, the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force, and the FBI continue their investigation.

No further information will be released at this time.
