FBI Reward Offered for Information About a Fort Lauderdale Shooting
MIAMI—The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting death of 3-year-old Rylo Yancy while he was attending a birthday party at Riverland Park located at 950 SW 27th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on July 21, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The subjects were in at least one but possibly two vehicles and fired over 20 shots at the people attending the birthday party. Yancy is the second toddler in as many weeks to have been shot during a gang-related shooting in Fort Lauderdale.
Investigators have identified two vehicles that may have been involved in the shooting, a 2022 red Mercedes Benz sedan and a 2017 black Mercedes Benz sedan.
The FBI reward is separate from the reward offered by Broward Crimes Stoppers related to this incident.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department and the FBI continue their investigation.
