FBI Safe Streets Task Force Releases New Information on 'The Edentulism Bandit'

KNOXVILLE, TN—The FBI Knoxville’s Safe Streets Task Force is releasing newly discovered details about the man who robbed the Enrichment Federal Credit Union last month. Agents believe the man dubbed “The Edentulism Bandit” entered the financial institution armed with a handgun last month. He approached the teller counter and demanded money, lifting his shirt to reveal the handgun in his waistband. He then fled in what was described as a dark colored older sport utility vehicle, taking with him an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses described the suspect as standing approximately 5’ 6” tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has a long neck and a pale complexion with some redness to his extremities. He also is missing several teeth, thus the name, Edentulism Bandit. The task force is asking the public to watch the posted video and look at the photographs to help determine the robber’s identity.

FBI Agents and Task Force officers have posted video and additional photos of this man on bankrobbers.fbi.gov and additional FBI Knoxville social media channels, including a direct link here: FBI KNOXVILLE- EDENTULISM BANDIT.
