Armed Bank Robbery of First Tennessee Bank on March 6, 2018

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Knoxville Police Department (KPD) are seeking the Public’s assistance in identifying the man who robbed the First Tennessee Bank on March 6, 2018.

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at approximately 1:14 p.m., law enforcement agencies responded to a bank robbery at the First Tennessee Bank at 502 Merchants Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Reports indicate that a white male entered the First Tennessee Bank, brandished and discharged a handgun, and demanded cash. No injuries were reported from the discharge. After obtaining an undermined amount of money, the suspect fled the scene. The suspect is described as follows:

  • White Male
  • Approximately 6’0”
  • Slender Build
  • Light Colored Hair
  • Dark Sunglasses
  • Base Ball Cap with VOLS (in Orange)
  • Red and Black Plaid Flannel Jacket
