FBI Increases Reward for Information Leading to the Arrest of a Federal Fugitive to $25,000

FBI Kansas City Special Agent in Charge Timothy Langan announced today that the FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest, prosecution, and conviction of Cory Brown, also known as “Twin”. This reward is a $20,000 increase in the reward amount offered by the FBI in November 2019.

The FBI, working with our partners continue to identify violent offenders within Kansas City as part of Operation Legend. The ongoing effort in locating violent offenders and the additional resources available as part of Operation Legend, provides for the increase in this reward with the expectation of someone from the community coming forward with information needed to bring Cory Brown to justice.

Brown was indicted on federal drug trafficking conspiracy charges on October 1, 2019, in the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri. Brown is one of the 20 individuals who were indicted in a major drug-trafficking conspiracy, which was announced on October 7, 2019.

Cory Brown, “Twin”, is described as a black male, 30 years of age, approximately 5’9” and 200 lbs.

Members of the public are cautioned not to confront Brown but to contact law enforcement immediately as he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Brown should contact the FBI Kansas City Division at (816) 512-8200 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
