Law Enforcement Seeks Additional Suspects in Osyka Bank Robbery

The Osyka Police Department, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, and Federal Bureau of Investigation are seeking two additional suspects connected to a bank robbery that occurred on August 4, 2016 at First Bank of Osyka in Osyka, Mississippi.
 
The additional suspects possibly purchased materials used in the robbery. The suspects are described as follows:

  • First suspect: White male, medium build, early to mid-40s with short brown hair. At the time of purchase, he was wearing a white shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and light sneakers
  • Second suspect: White male, small build, late teens or early 20s with shaggy brown hair. At the time of purchase, he was wearing a blue Nike shirt and khaki shorts.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male, large build wearing a black “coverall” suit. As the suspect entered the bank, he pulled a mesh net over his head, displayed a .45 caliber or smaller pistol and demanded money. The suspect was able to get away with an unknown amount of money.

The robbery suspect stole a bank employee’s vehicle and fled the scene west toward I-55. The stolen vehicle was recovered shortly after the robbery.
