Five Years Later, Law Enforcement Still Seeking Information About Triple Murder on Mississippi Gulf Coast

Five years after Rong Chen, Mei Rong Li, and Mei Jin Li were found stabbed to death in their D’Iberville, Mississippi home, the FBI and its law enforcement partners in Mississippi are still seeking information.

On October 5, 2011, Chen, his wife, and sister-in-law were murdered and found by one of their children returning home from school. They left behind four children.

“After five years, this family is still seeking closure,” said Donald Alway, special agent in charge of the FBI in Mississippi. “Our agents are still actively working this case with our local and state law enforcement partners, and we will not stop until the killer in this case is brought to justice.”

The family owned and operated a restaurant called Chinese Happiness near their home.

If you have any information about these murders, contact the D’Iberville Police Department at (228) 396-4252; the FBI in Gulfport, Mississippi at (228) 864-6131; or your local FBI office. You can also submit a tip at tips.fbi.gov.
