FBI Houston Seeks “Spectacled Suspect” for Bank Robbery
Up to $5,000 Cash Reward
HOUSTON, TX—FBI Houston’s Violent Crime Task Force is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man, dubbed the “Spectacled Suspect,” who robbed a bank on Monday in north Harris County. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the robber.
The robbery occurred at approximately 11:14 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2024, at the Wells Fargo bank located at 10261 North Freeway in north Harris County. During the robbery, the suspect entered the bank, approached the bank manager, and inquired about conducting a transaction. During the conversation, the suspect stated he had a pistol concealed on his person and proceeded to demand cash while threatening to shoot the bank manager and customers. The robber exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and into a black, four-door Chevrolet Silverado truck. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The suspect was followed out of the bank by a second, unknown man who drove the Silverado truck away from the scene. Additionally, an unknown female was also observed entering the same truck as the suspect and an unknown man before it fled the scene. Both the unknown man and woman are considered persons of interest in this investigation.
The robber is described as a Black man, approximately 55-70 years old, with a slim build and dark skin tone. During the robbery, the suspect wore a black baseball hat, brown jacket, red sweater, dark pants, gray athletic shoes, and prominent prescription glasses.
The male person of interest is described as a Black male, approximately 30-45 years old, with a medium build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt and khaki pants. The female person of interest is described as a white female, approximately 35-45 years old, with a heavy build. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater with the word “COUGAR” written on the front, black pants, and a gray backpack.
