First Light Federal Credit Union Robbery

At approximately 2:50 on October 5, an African-American male entered the bank and waited through several customers before approaching the corner business services teller. He handed the teller a note and said, “Give me all your money, and no one gets hurt, brother.” He did not display a weapon.

The teller handed him an undisclosed amount of money, and the subject put it in a small portfolio and walked out the bank. He may have fled in a white, older-model Buick with damage to the passenger-side door.

The subject was not wearing a mask and is described as an African-American male, approximately 40-50 years old, 5’7 to 5’8 inches tall, medium built and with tattoos on his neck. He was wearing blue jeans, an ash grey T-shirt, a white baseball cap with shades over it, and black tennis shoes.

This case is being investigated by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of the bank and/or has information about the robbery, please contact the FBI at (915) 832-5000.
