The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force Needs Your Help in Identifying a Bank Robbery Suspect Dubbed: The Bushy Brows Bandit

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and various Denver Metro area police departments need your help. A suspect believed to be responsible for multiple bank robberies across three different Colorado counties remains unidentified.

The lone male robber enters the bank and presents a demand note to the teller before fleeing the scene. The suspect threatened a weapon in each robbery however, no weapons were seen.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5’6”, 250 to 260 lbs., 30 to 40 years of age, and described as having thick eyebrows. It was due to this he was named The Bushy Brows Bandit.

Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the above description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.

Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense regardless if a weapon was used in the commission of the crime. That sentence increases however if a dangerous weapon is used. The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies and works closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Office to prosecute those charged with the crime.

If anyone has any information on the bank robbery above, or any bank robbery, please call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171; or you may remain anonymous by calling CRIMESTOPPERS at 720-913-STOP (7867).
