During the December 8th, 2020 robbery, three suspects entered the bank armed with handguns and robbed the bank takeover-style. A bank teller was physically assaulted during the robbery.

It is believed the same suspects robbed the BBVA Compass Bank located at 4600 South Broadway, Englewood, Colorado, on November 19th, 2020 and FirstBank located at 3594 South Logan Street, Englewood, Colorado, on December 2nd, 2020. Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
