FBI Seeking Information from Englewood Bank Robbery
The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and Englewood Police Department need your help identifying a bank robber. The bank where the robbery occurred is:
Chase Bank
3435 South University Boulevard
Englewood, Colorado
August 21, 2020, 12:19 p.m.
The suspect was a white or Hispanic male in his late 20’s, approximately 5’6” in height, with dark hair, and a medium build. The suspect wore a black, flat-billed baseball hat, a red shirt with mountains and black and white lettering on it, dark colored pants, and a black backpack.
During the robbery the suspect approached the teller, presented a note, and demanded money. After robbing the bank, the robber fled northbound on foot.
Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.
Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
