FBI Holds Academies in Durango

The FBI Denver Field Office is holding a Teen Academy and a Collegiate Academy in Durango at Fort Lewis College on Saturday, September 17. Members of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office are part of the events, as well.

Teen Academies are free one-day events where attendees learn about FBI career options, hear a case presentation, participate in interactive Evidence Response and SWAT demonstrations and learn about online safety.

Each teen session can accommodate 30-40 participants, all of whom should be high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors. The deadline for the September 17 academy in Durango is September 8. The application can be found on FBI Denver’s website: https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices/denver/community-outreach

This will be the first-ever Collegiate Academy, a free event open to all college students of any major. The format is similar to the teen academies, but the presentations are developed for a more mature audience. FBI recruiters, agents, and professional staff will be on hand to answer questions. Sign up is through Fort Lewis College, here: https://careers.fortlewis.edu/events/2022/09/17/fbi-collegiate-academy/
